Yellow is the lightest hue in the colour spectrum. It is the colour of sunflowers, lemons, cheese, corn and my all time favourite...bananas. It is a colour which symbolises joy, optimism, sunshine and happiness. It also reminds me of my lovely mum. It was her favourite colour. When she passed we placed yellow flowers in her coffin, tied yellow ribbons around the chapel and I wore a yellow dress. She would have loved it. I miss her every day.
