I love leaves. We often think of leaves as just green but in fact they are a kalediscope of colour and patterns . I’m a particular fan of gum leaves. Their reddish stems pop through shades of green, blue and grey which hang loosely to avoid the drying effects of the sun. Towards the end of their life they begin to change and I think this is when they become the most interesting. A bit like humans really.
