During a visit to my local art gallery I was struck by the strength of simplicity of a piece of art that used only three colours: black, white and a dash of green. After this visit I went home and paired this colour scheme with an an intricate pattern to create this drawing of a New Guinea Birdwing Butterfly. Instead of a dash of green though I used a dash of red. I hope you like it as much as I do.
