This print has been drawn on my ipad just for you
In Vietnam push bikes, along with scooters are the most common method of transporting people and items all around the countryside. If you stand by a road side long enough you will see all manner of items, most completely unexpected, cycled past you. From chickens, to pigs, to fruit to electrical goods no item is too big or too numerous for our Vietnamese friends to move on two wheels. Sometimes the cargo was so large it engulfed the rider which made it hard for me to see them and I assume even harder for them to see me. The cargo of choice for my subject is jackfruit. A fruit big enough to knock a cyclist off their bike but yummy enough to eat often.
The photograph I used as the reference for this image was taken by Dave Weatherall (@thattravelblog) and can be found on the web-site Unsplash. Thank you Dave for taking and sharing this image.
